1974 American-made Stratocaster for sale. Almost 50 years old.
Dated using an online dating service as manufactured in Fullerton, 1974
Stamp on the heel of the neck says 0901 1014 and X. Armenta, For Xaviar Armenta at Fender from 1956 on

Black body with rosewood fingerboard. Bullet truss rod. Hard tail bridge.
Ball end holders show uneven alignment from manufacture
Incorporates the MicroTilt type neck joint.
Low action, plays beautifully.
Modifications by owner:
Around 1980, a DiMarzio humbucker was fitted in the bridge position, scratch plate changed
During the humbucker modification, it was realized the neck pickup became open circuit.
I put the (now unused) bridge pickup in the neck position
The original 3-position switch from manufacture has been changed to a 5 position
Strap buttons changed to StrapLoc types.
Before this owner, the frets were replaced with Gibson Jumbo frets that show no wear after 40 years in my possession.
