A stunning Ametrine weighing 9.27 carats. The gem has a beautiful oval cut with a chequerboard face that adds a great deal of sparkle. The colours are well saturated with nice balanced quantities of purple and yellow. Cut is excellent with a very high polish. The photos have come out a little dark: the gem itself is brighter than shown, once you hold it in your hand. Please see photos for detail of condition. All my gems and minerals come with a small free gift because everyone loves a present! I deliberately don't identify the free gift, hopefully this provides a bit of fun for you in working out what it is.

Combining:

About Myself:

Having just received my Diploma in Applied Geology I have a keen interest in minerals and gemstones. I greatly enjoy obtaining new pieces and the relaxing process of investigating, verifying and cataloging them. I'm not infallible and only work in a small office without the backing of a large commercial lab so do make the odd mistake. However, I am a very nice and approachable guy so any problems with a gem or mineral please don't hesitate to let me know.
