Description
Pack of 10 fresh seeds of Bolusanthus speciosus, Wisteria Tree – with full instructions for germination
A strikingly beautiful tree from Southern Africa, staying much smaller (under 3 feet) if grown within a shallow bonsai pot, or eventually growing (very slowly) to a height of around 5-10 feet (1-3 m) within the ground
Lovely blue-mauve, fragrant, pea-like flowers hang from the branches in bunches, often covering the entire tree, initially whilst not in leaf, during late winter through to early summer
Produces flowers very young for a tree, usually within 2-4 years and at under a foot in height!
The drooping, dainty foliage lasts for the majority of the year, falling for a couple of months during the coldest part of the year
The trees are easy to keep small (if desired) with pruning. Makes an excellent bonsai tree as the roots are very shallow, flowers young and it is easily dwarfed
