This is not my area of expertise but I will try my best to give an accurate description. This dates to the early 20th century; I have shown the serial number so someone who knows the model number will be able to date it accurately. Typewriters are before my time, however, I had a go at using it, all keys worked perfectly well and did not stick, there was a little ink left in the ribbons, just enough to mark the paper, but will definitely need some more ink. It appears to be very clean and it came with a "Olivetti" cover which I will include, but it obviously isn't the correct one, but it still protects it from the dust. This has a wonderful patina, and a lovely look, it would make a lovely prop or display piece on an antique desk in an office. It is very heavy and weighs 15kg. It measures approximately 19.5 inches by 13 inches by 10 inches. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask. Please add me to your favourites list and take a look at my other items as I have hundreds that will be listed daily in the up and coming weeks. Please Note; I use new & recycled materials to ensure that your item arrives to you safely. I pack all of my items the best I can which you will see from my feedback. However, as with fragile items there is always a risk, items such as Antiques/Collectables, glass, ceramics, paintings etc are not insured for damage by any of the postal services, with the exception of The Royal Mail. This is why I offer a choice of postage options, so you can choose your preferred postage method. Collection in person is also available on all of my items. In the unfortunate, and unlikely event that something does get damaged or goes missing with the Royal Mail then I will do my very best to assist you in making a claim. I always obtain proof of postage for all of my sent items. Sadly I cannot be held responsible for the postal services poor handling of parcels.
