Our photographic studio lighting ceiling track system is new to us - selling on our website here at FstopDirect  for £695.95. It provides the ultimate experience for the studio photographer enabling completely versatile and fast positioning of studio lamps into any desired position in an instant - high or low, near or far, left or right. (Lamps are for illustration purposes only and not included in this auction).

The system is designed and supplied with 2 fixed tracks and 2 moving tracks enabling 'triangulation' of the lighting set up eliminating the clutter of lighting stands and power cables on the floor. There are also plenty of cable 'keepers' included to keep the power cables completely out of the way.  Whats included is described here. Note that the extra rail and pantograph in the photo is not included but available for an extra purchase.  Feel free to enquire. The photo identifying all the parts includes an additional extra track and pantograph not included in this kit but available for an extra charge.    

The system makes use of a combination of rails, carriages, and manual spring assisted/retracting pantographs.

Ceiling Tracks

Manufactured from aluminium and designed to be positioned to create two fixed and two moving rails.Each track measures 3m in total length. The 3 m length is made up of 3 x 1m lengths bolted together. See photos. The fit together perfectly to ensure smooth gliding operation of the carriages.

Double Sliding Carriages

Ball raced to create the smoothest sliding action between the two overhead stationary rails and the two lower floating rails.The floating carriages are now fitted with spring loaded tensioners in order ensure smooth, even and safe operation.    

Pantographs

Fully extendable with spring loaded retracting mechanism for easy positioning and lifting of lighting units supporting weights of up to 10kgs enabling a very smooth raising and lowering movement extending up to 72".The spring loading is easily adjustable to tighten or loosen the tension so its becomes easier or harder to pull the lights down depending on your own desired 'feel'. There is also a pantograph reaching pole in case the system is mounted on a high ceiling. If you are mounting on a high ceiling.

Kit Contains:

    • 4 x 3m track rails (12 x 1m lengths including joiners)
    • 4 x double sliding carriages with tensioners
    • 4 x mounting brackets (2 for each 3m length connecting up to ceiling)
      • with 8 x rawl bolts (2 for each bracket)
    • 3 x pantographs with carriages for fitting to rails
    • 3 x lighting adapters for fitting lights up to pantographs
    • 3 x safety cables 
    • 16 x end stops (2 for each 3m end) 
    • 16 nuts and bolts (for fixing end stops)
    • 24 cable tidies
    • 3 cable rollers (1 for each pantograph)
    • There are also spring loaded safety mechanisms for the lamp and track mountings in addition to the twist knobs again to doubly ensure safety precautions.
