5% Silver Phoscopper Brazing Rods-10 bars X 2.0mm X 500mm
The SCPHOS5X is a high-quality,stable and regular silver copper phos brazing alloy in rod form with a silver content of 5%, It is excellent to fill-up gaps between parts or where you need a nicefillet. It is suitable for copper material on a self-fluxing basis due to the phosphorus content and on copper alloys with an additional flux. Does not fear overheating, does not bubble, does not spark. Can be used on tubes of larger diameter than 6,8,10,12mm...
It is mostly used in refrigeration, radiators installation, heat-exchangers and air-conditioning fields.
Don't use it on ferrous materials such as steel and stainless steel or nickel and nickel alloys due to a risk of phosphorus and therefore joints embrittlement and nor aluminium and aluminium alloys.
Suitable for induction and flame oxy/propane or oxy/acetylene heating methods.
Melting Range: 645-815 °C
Composition: 5%Ag 6%P and Cu balance.
