GILLETTE ROCKET HD 500     Manufacturing year after 1955. Made in England TTO safety razor (twist to open). Legend "Brit.Pat. 694093" on metal plate. So this razor was made after 1955. Weight 71 grams. This model is called sometimes Rocket HD 500, in France. You can see on the last image a french advert from 1950, where the price is 500 francs.   "Brit pat" legend begins to appear on 1955 on the base plate of the Gillette razors.   The last image is just an advert example image. This advertisement is not included on the sale, only the saftey razor.       The safety razor has an excellent functionallity. The mechanism opens and closes smooth and soft. The two doors open at the same time, and do not block. When the blade is charged, the alineation of the blade with the guard bar is straight and excellent. Both sides have the same separation of the blade. The guard bar is firmly fixed to the handle.     Nickel finish condition: The nickel finish is in very good condition but has some light marks of use and wear of the nickel finish.   Doors: Good. Some little marks of use and points. End caps: Good. one mark on one side (image 6). Center bar: Good.  Base plate inside: Good. Light marks or little stains. Base plate guard bar: Some stains and little wear on the nickel finish (images 3, 5 and 10) Base plate back: Good. Little points or marks (image 8) Handle: Good. Light marks of use. Fabricada en Inglaterra despues de 1955. Debido a que la leyenda (brit pat) comenzó a aparecer a partir de 1955. Legenda "BRIT.PAT.694093"  en la placa central. Peso 71 g. Acabado de niquel.

Este modelo se solía llamar Rocket HD 500, en Francia. Puedes ver en la última imagen un anuncio de 1955, donde se le llama de esta forma por el precio de 500 francos.

    Excelente estado de funcionalidad. Cuando la cuchilla está cargada la cuchilla se encuentra perfectamente alineada con la "guard bar".  Suave movimiento de giro al abrir y cerrar.  Las puertas se abren al mismo tiempo. No se quedan bloqueadas. La maquinilla afeita con la misma intensidad por las dos caras.    Acabado de niquel: Cabeza puertas: Bien. Pequeñas marcas de uso, algunos puntos o lineas pequeñas. Guard bar: Bien.  Pequeñas manchas o ligero desgaste del acabado de niquel (imagenes 3,5 y 10). Placa base interior:   Bien. Alguna suave mancha pequeña. Placa base exterior:    Pequeñas marcas de uso y puntos (imagen 8). End caps (laterales): Bien. Una marca en un lado (imagen 6). Mango:  Bien. Suaves manchas o ligeras marcas de uso.     Está desinfectada, con germicida quirúrgico y máquina de ultrasonidos, a 80º de temperatura.   Se encuentra limpia, engrasada y lista para su uso.
