Jules Richard Verascope  F 40  stereo / 3D camera by Richard  was introduced about 1938, and was designed to take pairs of 24 x30mm images on 35mm film . This superseded the earlier and larger glass-plate Verascope models. Model F40 production continued through the 1950s, going through several small revisions. The Verascope f40 was exported to the US where it was sold by the Chicago press-camera manufacturer Busch .   Lenses are Som Berthiot  Flor  40mm/3.5  and guillotine shutter 1-1/250 sec. Coupled rangefinder (feet scale), switch for stereo or mono picture mode for 24 x 30 mm size.

Bush  Verascope F40  stereo 35mm film camera. Serial #2639021. Circa 1950. Made by Jules Richard in France. Produces 24x30mm stereo frame pairs.  Berthiot  Flor 40mm f/3.5 l enses. Clean glass. Nice lens coating.  F40 camera is in Ex- or 7.5 of 10 cosmetic condition. High quality precision made stereo camera. Focus down to 0.6 meter. Working shutter, but accuracy cannot be guaranteed. Shutter speeds from 1/250 to 1 sec. plus B.and T.  Smooth working lens aperture. Lens apertures from f/3.5 to f/16. Smooth lens focusing.
