Broadly defined, homesteading is a lifestyle of self-sufficiency. It is characterized by subsistence agriculture, home preservation of foodstuffs, and it may or may not also involve the small scale production of textiles, clothing, and craftwork for household use or sale. Pursued in different ways around the world — and in different historical eras — homesteading is generally differentiated from rural village or commune living by isolation (either socially or physically) of the homestead. Use of the term in the United States dates back to the Homestead Act (1862) and before. In sub-Saharan Africa, particularly in nations formerly controlled by the British Empire, a homestead is the household compound for a single extended family. In the UK, the term 'smallholder' is the rough equivalent of 'homesteader'.

Modern homesteaders often use renewable energy options including solar electricity and wind power and some even invent DIY cars. Many also choose to plant and grow heirloom vegetables and to raise heritage livestock. Homesteading is not defined by where someone lives, such as the city or the country, but by the lifestyle choices they make.

This library on DVD is the largest homesteading library collections every offered for sale.  All the major topics of homesteading are covered in one of our titles.  Our library covers over 900 titles, and is unmatched in the breadth of topics covered.  The following titles are included:

Catalog #TCA-B66

If you purchase another item with this same catalog number, you will get two identical items.  We are the owner and creator of this disk, and we have full distribution rights to this item.  Distribution rights are non-transferable.  This disk is our creation, and we participate in eBay's Vero Program.  Each disk is shipped in a plain mailer with no case.

Comments from happy customers who bought many other of our items from our vast catalog:

In 1959 I purchased an original home built “Thing” and ran it for several years on the Willamette River. Years later it got rotten and subsequently discarded. Now the Son of the man who originally built it from the magazine plans in his wood shop in Milwaukie, Oregon works with me and he helped his Dad build it in 1958. We decided to search for the plans and if we found them; I (an engineer) would upgrade it for two adults and build it. I bought your disk and building started last May 25 and it was ready to launch July 20th. You are welcome to use the photos and my “title” as a former white water guild; River Rat Bob from Oregon. Hope you enjoy the pictures attached. I am 60 years old but still chasing the dream as you see from my smile in the boat.

Thank you for the great plans.  Unbelievable amount of information for the money.  I can't wait to get started. -Jeff D., New Mexico.

I built the doghouse using the plans I purchased from you a week ago, and it was great.  Easy to read and follow, it was a great purchase.  The kids helped, and the dog just loves it.  Thank you so much. It'll take years to go through all the stuff I want to build on your CD.  Andrew H., Colorado.

The jungle gym for the kids is amazing.  We bought the plans 2 weeks ago, and built the whole thing last weekend. We are so impressed with the amount of information shown.  It is a virtual encyclopedia of plans.  Thanks.  Josh L., New Mexico.

My God!!  That's more boats than I can build in a lifetime!  Unbelievable! The best I have ever seen.  Thank you! Craig J., South Carolina.

I've seen plenty of plans on boats.  This is the best all around package of information I've come across.  Jake M., Florida.

This has saved me so much time.  I've spent weeks looking for stuff like this.  Well worth the few bucks to get this CD.  Jimmy K., Arkansas.

I bought a CD a few weeks ago that had a bunch of links and junk on it that was ripped off from websites and other useless information.  I thought long and hard before trying again and buying from you. I can actually use this stuff.  I'm so glad I did.  A.K., Arizona.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Why should I buy from you?  There are lots of places to buy similar stuff on ebay.  What makes you so special?

What separates us from the rest is that we want you to be happy.  If you're happy, you'll buy from us again and tell your friends.  Getting one sale from you is great, but we want the next sale from you and the next one after that.  It isn't worth a few bucks to us to have one unhappy customer.  If you are unhappy, tell us and let us try to fix the problem.  How many sellers will say that?

Yeah, so, there are lots of other sellers on ebay.  Are you saying the rest of them will rip me off?

No, of course not.  But, beware of what people sell on ebay.  Many sellers on here will charge you an exorbitant amount for shipping.  Many will "claim" to provide discount shipping only when you contact them, they'll tell you they'll take a quarter off the shipping price for each additional item.  We never do that.  Our shipping policy is very straight forward.  All of our items ship free to the USA, simple as that, so there's nothing for you to worry about regarding combined shipping!  You'll see that we not only offer more content per package then our competition, but also at the cheapest price too.

I want to see a sample before I commit to buying.  Please send me a free sample.

We are sorry that our description, as well as our strong ebay reputation, does not provide you with a strong enough comfort level to purchase from us.  With that said, we do not provide "free samples".

What if my disk arrives damaged?

We offer a no muss, no fuss guarantee that all damaged disks are replaced free of charge.

FAST SHIPPING!!

All discs are mailed out within 1-2 business days guaranteed!!!

----------------------------

Have you bought plans on CD's on ebay before only to be disappointed? Did you buy a CD only to find a bunch of useless links on it?  Did you buy a disc and when it arrives it doesn't work and you can't contact the seller?

Well, with us, your satisfaction is GUARANTEED!

All of our discs are tested before shipping to ensure customer satisfaction.  In VERY RARE cases does a disc get damaged and rendered unreadable in shipment.  If our disc shows up and it won't read on your DVD or CD Drive, let us know, an we'll replace it.  If you are unsatisfied in any way, let us know, we want you to be happy.

In some cases, customers bought DVD ROM discs and tried to play them on their CD ROM.  In those cases, it is not our responsibility for your hardware compatibility issues.  ALL of our DVD's are clearly marked as DVD's in the auction listing.

Shipping and Payment information

Pay through PayPal using:

We accept PayPal as our only form of payment.  We do not accept any other form of payment.  All items will be shipped within 1 business day to your PayPal address . We will only ship to your PayPal verified address. All items are shipped by USPS first class mail.  In an effort to keep our costs down, that are passed along as low prices to you, all of our disks are packaged and shipped in economic sleeves and mailers.  All of our disks are labeled with a clean text only label and some graphics.  The disks are made this way for speed and cost, which translates into lower cost for you.  We focus our efforts on the quality of the material on the disk.  We do not believe in charging you an extra 3 or 4 dollars like some companies out there just to throw in a 25 cent plastic case and slap a color label on an item. USA CUSTOMERS :  Most times, your package will arrive in about 5 days after we ship them depending on where you are at.  However, lately the Post Office it seems has not been very cooperative with us and we've had a couple of customers wait a few days longer than that.  Please understand that we cannot control the Post Office, so we can't guarantee a delivery time.  If the item does not arrive by the last promised ship date in ebay, please email us and let us know, and we will make it right.  The only unhappy customers we have are those that don't bother to contact us and don't give us a chance to fix the problem for them. NON-USA CUSTOMERS :  Same deal above,  except your packages typically have been taking about 2 weeks or so after we ship them.  We've noticed that maybe 20% of overseas customers have been waiting as long as 4+ weeks for these shipments.  The only explanation we can come up with is that it must be stuck in some container in some dock waiting on customs clearance.  It happens, and for those 20% of customers, we apologize, but there is very little we can do about that.  Your disk will arrive or we will replace it. Multiple items purchased by the same customer may or may not be shipped in the same package, at our discretion .  We do not offer any additional discounts on multiple items other than the ones noted above. Every effort has been made to accurately describe the contents of this collection.  On very very rare occasions, typographical errors may occur and we may make an innocent mistake.  These items are described to the very best of our abilities, and in as much detail as possible.

Feedback Policy:

Please offer us a chance to fix any problems before leaving us negative feedback for any reason by emailing us first with your problem.  The only thing we ask from our customers is that if they have a problem, that they give us a chance to fix the problem for them before they leave bad feedback.  If negative feedback is left without any prior communication, we will assume you are no longer interested in communicating and working things out.

We verify all disks prior to shipment to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

If you have any questions prior to bidding, please use contact the seller above and let us know.  Thank you!!!!!!
