Description

A Goerz Doppel Anastigmat brass lens for an Anschutz Press Camera, commonly used in the early 1900's.  Made in Germany, the cameras were introduced in 1896.  This lens has a serial number 50793.  Around the lens it is impressed: D.R.P. Series III/0, f:120mm (it does not actually say 'Goerz' on the lens).  It has an iris diaphram and the front is impressed with the apertures: 6 - 192.  It has a focusing ring with short stick control.  Screw thread fitting directly behind the focussing ring, diameter approx 40mm

Condition / Defects:

In very good condition; the aperture and focussing controls move smoothly.  Defects: wispy fungus inside the elements.
