===============================      ENGLISH     =============================== International buyers are welcome. Please beware that the macOS installation is by default in eiterh Spanish or English. You can easily change the system's language later in System Preferences and by running "sudo languagesetup" on terminal or either request your personalised language. The instructions manual is available either in English or Spanish. Contact me in either English, French or Spanish for further support if needed. Thank you! If your Apple MacBook Pro 15 or 17 inch 2011 displays an image with artifacts, distorted, green, magenta, or cyan, it loads the apple and stays blank or restarts when you need to make the graphic change almost at the end of the charge. system, this disk is offered as an alternative solution to reballing or changing graphics chip. DIY: Start your Mac with this USB Flash Drive that contains the changes needed to disable your faulty AMD GPU. Then recover your data and clone it to yours. Don't sell your Macbook Pro! You may have a solution! Fix it yourself in 40 minutes! Three options available: Download, USB or SATA to USB external drive. Consult other custom options if necessary such as SSD. For downloads the shipping costs will be refunded after download. Instructions manual in digital format and after-sales service available. Note: A 32GB USB Flash drive is included but, although more practical and economical than the hard drive solution with external SATA box, macOS may run slower depending on the make and model of the device. Please note that the USB 2.0 interface has a limited transfer speed. Optional new SATA to USB box according to availability varying make and model. The optional hard drive will always be 240GB or higher but the important thing is the content and not its capacity as it includes tools to copy its contents to your current hard drive or SSD solid state drive. Later you can use the hardware for backups, Time Machine, etc. An excerpt from the manual and information of interest is included below: HDD FOR MACBOOK PRO 2011 GPU FIX User manual INTRODUCTION Let me give you a brief introduction. If you want to get your MacBook Pro up and running as soon as possible, skip this penny and go straight to the "HANDS TO WORK" section. This hard drive has been designed to automatically disable the dedicated AMD graphics chip installed in the 15 and 17-inch MacBook Pro of 2011, a chip that we will refer to from now on as a dGPU of the English "discrete graphics process unit" that we could translate more or less as a dedicated graphics processing unit. That is, we will disable it because it can not in any way repair the damage that can cause the hardware of your MacBook Pro but it will help us to continue using it in spite of it. There are some limitations that will be discussed later in the "KNOWN PROBLEMS" section. Your MacBook Pro comes with two graphics chips: the integrated Intel Graphics HD chip that uses system RAM for shared operation and the AMD dGPU that has its own dedicated VRAM video memory chips, which are even faster than the own RAM. Apple's idea was to provide a hybrid system that would use Intel's integrated chip for use where high graphics power was not needed, thus avoiding higher battery consumption and higher heat output than a dedicated dGPU. so that the system will automatically switch from one graphics chip to another depending on the graphics needs of the user at any time. It does this through a multiplexer circuit which we will call MUX, which is nothing more than a switch for this graphic task. We could compare it to a hybrid electric and gasoline car that changes from one system to another depending on the power needs at any given time. Without going into too much detail, there are different factors that cause this chip to end up failing after years: wear, wear, lack of maintenance that causes high temperatures, lead-free welding materials, cooling system design, chip MTBF ( meanwhile before failure) and scheduled obsolescence, etc. Don't worry, you could possibly have done little to extend the life of your MacBook Pro apart from routine maintenance by keeping the fans and heat sinks clean and changing the thermal grease on both dGPUs and CPUs every certain year. At this point, I know of four viable repair methods:  1) Replacement of the graphics chip and / or VRAM video memories.  2) Disabled the graphics chip by hardware.  3) Reprogramming the MUX multiplexer.  4) Disabling the graphics chip by software. If you are interested in any of these methods, in "ONLINE RESOURCES" you will find more information about them. Well, after this little introduction, you'll be wondering if my MacBook Pro can work normally without the dGPU. The answer is yes and the level of normal operation will depend on the method chosen. Let us now focus on the above-mentioned method of disabling the dGPU by the software in question. [...] IMPORTANT: In order for this disc to solve the graphics problem of your MacBook Pro 15/17 inch of 2011, it must turn on and pass the POST emitting the mythical "Bong" boot. You cannot in any way revive computers that do not turn on or are unable to boot the operating system. Returns are not accepted, for any questions do not hesitate to consult first.
