Valves feel amazing and slides are all smooth and caps thread easily. The original case is solid and horn comes with a nice Jupiter 7C mouthpiece. UpYourBrass shop policies are to offer only inspected, repaired, thoroughly cleaned, detailed horns. (This is a $150 service for complete reconditioning at the shop)
  • Horn is dis-assembled and inspected, soaked in an organic de-greasing solution and scrubbed
  • Body, valves and components are treated in an organic chem clean with Tesch products (Tesch is recommended by NAPBIRT)
  • Hand-lapped valves and chambers (This process can take up to an hour)
  • Complete detail of all components, hot water scrubbed and prepped for assembly
  • Valves aligned, pads and springs replaced as needed
  • Play tested, all solder work completed if needed and final inspected before listing for sale

***Clean your instrument regularly (especially lead-pipe and tuning slide) and have a chem-clean or ultrasonic clean done every two years. Vintage cases are all disinfected, cleaned and sanitized but there may be a residual horn smell in any old case.

Facilitate a quick return process with cordial communication, returns started without communication will take much longer to process. If your instrument is damaged during shipping, you must take a picture of the box with external damage, the packaging and the damage to the case and or instrument. The shipper will not offer any compensation unless these steps are taken.
