It retains a degree of Mode 1 styling with an evolving early Mode 2 appearance. It is has been bifacially worked to an ovate shape. The lateral edges and proximal butt are very thick and crude looking. One face retains a sea fossil imprint on the cortical section. A very rare and collectable early northwestern European tool in a nice collectable condition.
