Seller: stubbornoak (657) 100%, Location: Salisbury, Ships to: Worldwide, Item: 143545067442 Ancient flint knife. parts are very smooth but where knapped it is very sharp The colour of the material suggests it may have a North African origin It was collected by a very distant relation of mine who was a known amateur archaeologist in the early 1900s. His name was De Barri Crawshay and he lived in Kent. He collected a great deal and most of it was eventually sold to the British Museum. I have some remainders! This item is of considerable historic interest. This means that if it is sold outside the UK I will need to apply for an export licence (At no cost to the buyer) but there will be a delay of about 28 days before I can post it. If a licence is refused (which I consider unlikely) I will of course refund all payments. To avoid unnecessary paperwork on a low cost item, all winning bids from outside the UK must be for at least £100. Dispatched with Royal Mail tracked postage Provenance: Ownership History Available, Colour: Brown, Type: cutting tool
