Exact mount sizes in inches and mm 

• The reason we quote the size in inches is because it is the familiar size that artists/ photographers are used to - also they are popular ready- made frame sizes

• The reason we also quote the inside opening in millimetre is because it is the most accurate to measure

For example we offer 10 x 8” for 7 x 5” prints - this means the outside of the mount is 10 x 8” and will easily fit a 10 x 8” ready made frame. The 7 x 5” opening is for a 7 x 5” print - we have decreased the actual opening or aperture by 6mm or approx 3mm on all sides - this allows the mount opening to cover the print slightly and allow for hinging or taping.
