Factory Refurbished Brother 1634DX 3/4 Thread Serger. The Brother 1634DX serger is a fairly basic model suitable for most serging needs - this machine creates a beautiful 3 or 4 thread overlock edge as well as a tight, classy-looking rolled edge.I have used the 1034D and 1634Ds for many years now, and I find that it has been hard for me to switch to the "new, improved" features of the D"X" -- I assume that's what the "x" means =-). After I had several issues with my particular machine, Brother replaced it with this refurbished 1634DX. However, I am very stuck in my sewing ways and have decided to remain with the machine version I am used to and sell this 1634DX. I have not even taken it out of the plastic bag that this newly refurbished machine came in. The sample of fabric with serging still sits on the sewing plate as well. **I am not currently finding any of my trim traps (that is the white, plastic tray that can be attached to catch the threads that you trim off.) I don't typically use mine, so I probably disposed of it. I am including my bag of accessories (two additional pressure feet, and 4 of the 5 needles in a package, along with tweezers, a lint brush, etc.) I will also tuck in a very lightweight plastic dust protector that I believe came with one of my machines. Please message if you have any other questions that I have not covered the answer to sufficiently.
