This Singer sewing machine was made in 1953 in the Clydebank, Scotland (Great Britain) factory
The sewing machine feels really smooth, please study all photos to understand the condition.
The machine has a beautiful and well detailed design and decal. The 201K's are very expensive and highly sought after sewing machine produced by Singer , Popularly referred to as ROLLS ROYCE ; superior to majority of Singers …..Bargain!!!!!!!!!!!!! This type of machines are probably better than nowadays plastic computerised sewing machines or Industrial sewing machines which easily breaks down and cost a lot more to repair.
They can be converted to electric motor driven.
A great machine for sewing lightweight fabrics right up to heavy materials including leather, using the correct needles and thread of course! As with all used antique or Vintage Sewing machines, there might be signs of little wear but nothing that detracts from the excellent running of the machine. Ideally makes a great valuable ANTIQUE /VINTAGE asset.
