Singer 99K EM746768 made in 1957. Low shank. Perfect working order. Singer 99k is my absolute favorite vintage sewing machine. I've bought one for myself once and it became a hobby of mine to find and restore this particular model. Third 99K generation introduced innovative at a time reverse stitch. No more fuss turning fabric around as with other vintage machines. Precise and efficient yet not over complicated hand crank mechanism with bobbin winder. Large variety of attachments available for singer machines (low shank vintage or brand new) can help with any complicated project and even turn straight stitch to zigzag. Unbreakable cast iron body in classic Singer silhouette combined with art deco “eye" golden decals and beautifully polished bent plywood case make it look just stunning. If taken care of (stored in dry conditions, cleaned and oiled after use on regular basis) this machine will endure decades of hard work. Just like it have done since 1957. There is just nothing that can go wrong with it. It can tackle any project and sew any fabric from smoothest silk to few layers of canvas and even leather provided with proper needle and tension settings. Singers hand crank can be converted to electric machines. Tutorials can be found online and spare parts on eBay if you wish to embark on a further restoration project. There are signs of previous use, it is 59 years old after all. See photos as they are part of description. Cleaned and oiled throughout it is ready to sew. I include manual, a bottle of singer machine oil and 10 metal bobbins with each machine. If you’d like to add any attachments from selection I offer they’ll be shipped with the machine free of charge. Just press “request total from the seller” button in your basket or checkout straight away and I’ll refund the difference via PayPal. Important! Never ever lift your vintage machine by the handle on the lid. Grab them by the base only. Safety first! You wouldn't want 20 kilos of cast iron breaking loose from 60 years old case hinges on your toes.
