toshiba slc-8261 calculator with original bag (1978)
This Toshiba SLC-8261 replaced the SLC-8260 introduced few month earlier. It was sold as OEM products, we know the MBO ALPHA 502 and the Radio Shack EC-4007 .
The internal design of the SLC-8261 doesn't look like the usual Toshiba design. We are missing details like the battery holder found in the LC-834WA . Nevertheless there are other important details inside the SLC-8261. The printed circuit board was manufactured by Sansyu , a well know company since we dismantled some TI-1750 calculators.
The next surprise could be found on the calculator chip found inside the SLC-8261, it is the same T3763 found inside the first version of the TI-25 .

The SLC-8261 was later replaced with the SLC-8262 . The SLC-8310 added some statistical functions.
